Street Champions Adopt Your Neighbourhood Title
The Street Champion Adopt Your Neighbourhood Scheme is an opportunity for residents or community groups to nominate a chosen street or community area.

In highlighting any environmental problems or hotspots in their
nominated area, residents and agencies can work together to help improve the local environment and make it a greener, safer and
cleaner place to be.

Access to a free phone number to enable you to report issues to Birmingham City Council such as fly tipping, graffiti, litter etc. Certain issues can also be reported online via Birmingham.gov.uk.

Monthly Resident Audit scheme. This gives us a picture of the environmental quality and condition of your street or nominated area.

This will build up a picture on how the street or area is improving over time with a Street Champion adopting it and it will highlight any problem ‘hotspots’ that will need to be tackled. Information from this form, where appropriate will be shared with Birmingham City Council departments including our Neighbourhood Champion Trainee Scheme.

Funding, equipment and including local support from our Neighbourhood Champion Environmental Trainee Team for community events such as litter picks, planting and hanging basket demonstrations, street clean ups.

Volunteer hours will be credited allowing you to work towards bronze, silver, gold and platinum Street Champion status.
