Can residents really make a difference in their community?

The Street Champions project, funded
by Be Birmingham’sWorking Neighbourhoods Fund’ (WNF) and managed by Birmingham City Council’s Housing and Constituencies Directorate, aims to empower residents in their neighbourhood, supporting and assisting Birmingham residents and community groups who want to help improve their local environment and make it a greener, safer and cleaner place to be.
Street Champion
Why Become a Street Champion?
Access to a free phone number to enable you to report issues to Birmingham City Council such
as fly tipping, graffiti removal.
Funding, equipment and support for community events such as litter picks, planting and hanging basket demonstrations, street clean ups.
Access to FREE training.
Local support from our Neighbourhood
Champion Environmental Trainee Team

Resident ‘Adopt Your Street’ scheme.
An opportunity to keep informed about other neighbourhood initiatives and ways to get
