The Street Champions Team is currently launching a Neighbourhoods
Recruitment campaign in partnership with Neighbourhood Managers.
How we are going to do this?
Distribution of Street Champion magazine and other promotional
material via our Neighbourhood Champion Trainee Team, Neighbourhood
Managers, community and resident networks.
Community Engagement Training to be delivered to all Neighbourhood
Champions Trainee Scheme mentors and mentor assistants.
Working in Partnership with our Neighbourhood Champions
Trainee Team
Environmental Quality Standard training arranged for Neighbourhood
Champion Trainees to enable them to assist residents living
in Neighbourhood management Areas in need of help to complete
monthly audit forms.
Neighbourhood Champion Trainees mentor assistants to have
responsibility to recruit Street Champions and gather customer
feedback about services out in Neighbourhoods and deliver
informal education programmes.
The aim to have 250 members in each Neighbourhood by the end
of the year making all of Birmingham's Neighbourhood Management
Area's Platinum Street Champion Neighbourhoods
